Hi Everyone, I took a radiator off a couple a weeks ago to make it easy to decorate and also make painting the radiator easier etc.
I followed some straight forward guides when i removed the radiator, such as turn off central heating, close the the thermostatic valve and bleed valve and drained off the radiator by un-doing the compression nuts etc and removing.
I've just come to refit it now and make sure all joints and tight, opened the bleed valve and turned on the central heating system, all the radiators are red hot and I've bleed the air out of all of them, however the one on the top of the stairs is stone cold, the pipes going into the radiator are also cold like there is no hot water getting to it, I've just double bled the system and also read up on the internet about bleeding the pump ) a large red thing with a screw, i opened that anti clockwise and it make a noise for 30 seconds then stopped.
This has not made any difference to the cold radiator.
Please could someone give me a little advice on what it could be
Cheers
Peter
