Starmer said "Smash the gangs" to get elected. He never meant it, and nothing has been done.

He'll see the current pause as an issue. He'll be worried the uni-party Operation Destroy The UK isn't going to plan.

Obviously it's an anomaly, because it's bloody cold. You've seen the boats, they all travel with their legs in the water, which is currently shockingly cold. They'd all die if they crossed now. They're reckless, they're not suicidal.
