Reliability of pumped cesspit (Serving 12 houses)pumped up to mains drains

Hello all,
Not sure if this is correct forum as I couldn't find one for drains alone! If not perhaps you could point me in right direction on this site.

Could anyone please advise me regarding the following-

My daughter wants to buy a house that has a 1980's cesspit under the drive which is about 1metre away from her kitchen door.
The cesspit serves 12 houses in the small close and it pumps to the mains drain about 30metres away slightly up hill.
Southern Water have taken over the maintenance since 2016.
The control panel is in a small brick building attached to her garage.
Is this likely to be a problem please if you have any experience of this.
