while changing babys diaper ... my friend got vaseline on my sofa pit ... any ideas on how to remove this ... thank you in advance ... MWERRY CHRiSTMAS to you and yours ... GOD BLESS!

You need to use a solvent to dilute the grease & then soak this up by dabbing with a clean tissue. Pro cleaners will probably use some form of dry cleaning fluid but I’ve found that ‘panel wipe’ works just as well; it’s a pure solvent used to degrease auto panels prior to spraying.

First I soak the stain well & then dab the area hard with kitchen roll to soak up the residue, use plenty of clean tissue; do this several times & it will remove the most stubborn grease stains; I’ve even used it on a dress suit! Don’t whatever you do use white spirit or turps as this is oil based & will only make things worse & paint thinners will most likely cause the fabric colour to run.
