I'm currently removing my kitchen flooring as I'm fitting a new kitchen

It has laminate on top of underlay on top of lino on top of vinyl tiles from the 70's!

Upon trying to remove the lino a lot of the vinyl tiles are coming up and leaving the black glue!

I plan on laying laminate back down would I be best to remove the old vinyl tiles or leave as many as possible as it's just around the edge of the kitchen units and not the main walk area

Nice one. Hope it went well. I sometimes put a screeding compound over the old adhesive if the customers will pay for it but most don’t.

They came up extremely easy to be honest

There is the old adhesive but there is no issue with it its not tacky or anything so it will be left as is

Just need to pull my finger out now and get the kitchen in
