Hi,
I have bought a house with an old baxi bermuda back boiler system. I need to instal a combi boiler and remove the old system. I am going to buy a worcester/bosch boiler because i hear from plumbers ive talked to that they are the best to have. My current system has a tank in the loft and i have traced all of the pipework and understand what it all does.
I hadnt considered the diferent pipe diameters however and now im a little unsure.
-What are the regulations regarding pipe diameters?
-Do the bigger pipe diameters need to be a certain distance from the boiler before you step them down to 15mm?
-the current heating system heats upstairs first and then the rads downstairs. Can my combi boiler start from downstairs and go up instead?
Also, what is this power-flush i hear about? Can I tell if i really need to clear my system out without doing it, or am i just being lazy?
Hope someone can help! There are a lot of questions there!
Deano.
