Hi, can i remove more than 1 brick at a time in the same area? There is an old extraction vent that needs re- bricking, it requires 6 bricks to be taken out in the same area, help much appreciated

If you look at the diagram below: View media item 32943You'll see that bricks 5 and 6 can be removed and then brick 2, but bricks 1 & 3 will still be supported by bricks 4 & 7.
The same will apply over a slightly wider area.
You'll end up with a, more or less, natural arch.
