Hi

I have a framed retractable garage door. The horizontal door guides are connected to a rear tie bar whicg is secured to both sides of the garage. I am thinking about fitting an electric garage opener to the door. There is a label on the tie bar saying this tie bar must be removed fro electrical operation.

Question is, once I remove this tie bar. there will be no support for the guides. Are there kits available to convert the garage door guides to roof supported?

Thanks
