I've got a detached double garage, used to be a single with another added to the side and partially knocked through.
I want to replace the 2x doors are the front with a large single door.
I've considered removing the roof totally and replacing all the joists (4.5m span) and reroofing which would solve it, but quite expensive and the roof is fairly new.
Some kind of "T" shaped lintel.
What would you do?
