Removing marks from porcelain sink - Plumbers rubber??

Hi

Our brand new sink has somehow developed 3 small grey / silverish marks on the rim (a round sink). Done a bit of digging around and found references to a plumbers rubber / China Runner which will get these marks off.

Does anyone know where I could buy one from?

Is it called "plumbers rubber" or "China Rubber". Had a look on both screwfix and plumbcentre but can't find anything.
