I need to replace a cartridge for my single mixer kitchen tap but struggling to remove the lever.

I've attached a pic, does the lever just need to be pulled off? I don't think it's screwed on but not sure. It's really stuck so I don't want to force it without knowing how it comes off.

There would usually be a grub screw (small allan key) in the handle, look all the way around the base just above the dome section, if there isn't then yes it should just lever off.
