I'm planning on re-finishing my oak dining table which is peeling off just by running my fingernails over it. However corners and some other spots are still ok and holds tight. Tried sanding - it completely clogs sandpaper, i dont have scraper or planer for more agressive approach.
Nor do i know what kind of varnish is it to try chemical removal. Whitespirits ? Acetone ?
Any advice is welcome.
