Removing patio

How are you asking these traders, not the dreaded Checkatrade or similar websites? You'll only get very rough prices on here, got a photo or two? Depends on location, access, can you put a skip on the driveway or the road or does it need a truck to take it away on the day etc?

I can put a skip outside my back gate and yes on the dreaded websites which I can't seem to get an estimate I just want to ensure I have enough cash to remove this as I'm not sure of the cost this was built by my ex partner so I just paid for materials and I don't own my property it's a council house and it has lowered the dpc

If you're getting rid of the slabs you could put a post on Marketplace and advertise them for free or say £2 each with the buyer to come and lift/remove them themselves. Join a local Facebook Group for your town and ask for some recommendation for tradesmen on there.

You'll definitely find people who will be willing to take away those slabs for free, or for a few quid each. Offer them on fb marketplace. If they're free they might even break them out for you too.

Thanks to everyone for your help I have a better idea of tools and type of equipment whoever i hire needs still not sure of the cost but hopefully not more than a few grand
