Render up to UPVC door?

Could you let me know the best way to render this inside wall and meet the UPVC door? I'll be using multi finish to plaster the finish but wanted to know how to get to this position where the door is level with the brick.

Is it single skin?

Will you need insulation and weather proofing?

Yeah, so who has fitted the door like that? Was it diyed? If you've paid a tradesman to fit it they want shooting. It should have been set back.
