A couple (OK a few more!) of questions that I'd be really grateful if someone could answer BEFORE I start a rendering project:
1. Best mix and additives - on both coats?
2. I'm intending to do a 2 coat render - scratch(7 - 10mm) and finish(5-9mm).....are these thicknesses ok?.....when I remove the battens from doing the scratch, how long does it need to be left before the finish goes on - and
3. Is it necessary to rebatten for the finish or just trowel and level?

MANY THANKS!

4-1 MIX WITH CAP FULL OF FEB ,Leave scratch coat a couple of hours then apply finish coat,no need for battons.
