Hi guys,
My house was double-glazed about 18 years ago using Mahogany or Brazilian hardwood which were then French polished on the inside.
After all this time most of the cills are in very good condition but the kitchen and bathroom cills have gone very tired looking due to water damage etc.
I was thinking of sanding them down and applying something like Sadolin but I am worried that this might raise the grain and need repeated sanding to get a good finish.
Does anyone know of a good method of renovating these cills to something of their former glory.
Ted.

A light rub down to get rid of the surface coating if there's any left, then oil. Then wax. It's easy
