Hi All

I need to repaint the bathroom ceiling as it had developed what appears to be mould spots.

I just washed to understaffed the correct steps.

Would it be

1. Clean ceiling with bleach to kill the mould, what's best to use?
2. Lightly sand the ceiling, what grade paper?
3. Repaint with mould resistant white bathroom paint

Or is there a better method?

Thanks in Advance

I would use cillit bang black mould remover on the mould, just follow the instructions then paint with Zinsser PermaWhite Mould Resistant Paint, sand it down if you think it needs it, consider why the ceiling has mould spots and address that issue if necessary. Amazon were cheapest for the paint the last time I bought some a few months ago. Make sure you really stir it well with a stick or similar, it seems common for there to be a big thick layer at the bottom of the tin that at first you might think won't mix but it will eventually, otherwise it will be watery.
