Our house has a two coat waterproof render, painted with exterior masonary paint.

There is a horizontal hairline crack the length of one of the walls. It isn't "blown". We live in Devon, heavy clay. I am assuming this is caused by settlement over the past 22 years. Most of the houses in the street display similar cracks.

I want to repair the crack and have heard of epoxy mortar?
Has anyone used this and can you recommend a manufacturer and the way you'd go about fixing it.

Thanks

Anyone with experience of repairing these hairline render cracks.?

Thanks

I have no experience with epoxy mortar but personally I wouldn't go to all the bother. Use a good exterior filler like Tetrion and a quality masonry paint after it has dried.
