Replace a TRV with Non TRV?

I have a small house with 4 rads, and a programmable theromostat.....every rad has a TRV on. Am I right in thinking this is wrong, and in the room with the thermostat the rad shouldn't have a TRV on?

If so, can you buy a replacement for the TRV for this room? I know the TRV unscrews by hand....is there something I can replace this with that screws on by hand and just leaves the rad on all the time?

You can just leave that trv open. If it's set to higher temp than the room stat it shouldn't close.
