Looking to replace the door lock on my mother in laws garage because it has no keys. It is an old, pretty standard door as in the attached photos.

If I replace like for like it will only be lockable/unlockable from the outside. Ideally I'd like to install one that can be opened/closed/etc. from inside and outside.
I did find this but it seems to be for specific makes/models of doors.
Would it fit?
Or can anyone suggest another solution.
Any ideas appreciated.

If you merely want something that might resist the odd opportunist passing thief then probably OK but if you actually want anything like something decent then a floor lock is preferable.

So would the Starfleet one in my link fit this door?
I appreciate I could make it more secure with different solutions but it needs to be fairly simple in operation as mother in law is elderly.
