I have a Landis & Gyr MA-V322 3-port valve which is making a clicking noise when CH is selected but not moving (and boiler does not fire unless HW is also on).

I've taken the motor off and the valve arm is moving freely (spring loaded to return to HW position).

The gear on the motor and the teeth on the valve arm look normal, so I suspect that it is something wrong inside the motor although the when spinning the gear it sounds okay (i.e. the internal gear chain sounds intact ).

Is it possible to replace just the motor, or the actuator? Is the Siemens CMV-322 actuator compatible with the old L & G body?

All other hints and tips very welcome!
