Hi all

Location: Combined kitchen/living room (ground floor)
Sub-floor: Concrete
Area: 6.80m x 3.2m

I'm thinking of removing the tiles in a combined kitchen living room and then putting down more concrete (to bring the level back up) and finishing it as smooth as reasonably possible to begin with to keep the dust and cost low (it doesn't have to be perfectly polished to a high grit).
I guess the depth of the removed tiles and adhesive will be 2 - 3cm.

While I am handy and have done a number of projects at home I'm not familiar with concrete and may get help on this.

I'd appreciate any tips!
