Hello! So.... I was trying to free up the pin in my Danfoss radiator valve, which had got stuck, resulting in a cold radiator (I've done it before, successfully, on another rad), but the pin popped out and is now lost down the gap between the floor and the skirting - gone forever!

Only a bead of dirty water has emerged from the hole for the pin, so no big disaster, and I've stuck a piece of wire in there for now, just in case, but now I'm trying to find a replacement pin to put back in there but can't find how to get one!

I could buy a whole new TRV valve but seems a bit excessive, just to get the tiny pin, and I don't know if I'd want to try replacing the whole thing myself.

Anyone know where I can just get a replacement pin to pop in there?

Thanks, M

It can ,if you know what you are doing ,pros do it all the time . However ,I would advise a DIYer to drain down ,at least to a level lower than the valve.
