I have a Potterton KingfisherII rs80 that seems to be at teh end of its life.(15yrs old)
Bang crashes whistles etc. I have cleaned the system out 4 times with non acid cleaner. Had Sentinel X200 in for several weeks. Also Used DS-3 acid cleaner, all to no avail.
Checked all water flows cnd gas pressures and all OK.

What would be a good replacement for this boiler.

I have 2 story Semi house with only 3 down stairs radiators, four upstairs radiators.

The system is at the moment gravity fed HW with tank and Pumped CH.

I wish to move to system with 3 way valve or fully pumped.

Any help would be

Do yourself a favour, get the pipework changed to fully pumped, new control pack, thermostatic valves, auto bypass and sort out the F& E pipework.

Have the sytem powerflushed properly.

Keep the boiler its still young.
