I bought a wireless timer/thermostat to replace a crappy mechanical timer. The old mechanical timer has three connections, live in, live out and neutral. The receiver of the new digital timer has four, live, neutral, 1 & 2.

Any assistance appreciated.

Thanks

Craig.

The old mechanical timer is an eclipse ET16A, the new timer is a towerstat remote Eco ET4RF. The boiler is a glowworm flexicom 35 cx.

Thanks

To be on the safe side, I would wire the receiver directly into the boiler.

TURN POWER OFF TO BOILER!!

First, remove the electrical cartridge as in 11.1 in the boiler manual.

Remove the wiring for the old programmer/stat from elec. cartridge.

Connect a 240v mains supply to the L & N terminals on the stat receiver.

See diagram 11.2 in manual.

Under the words 'Installer Interface', there are 3 connections underneath on the left labelled 24V - Ebus - 0V

Connect a wire from 1 on stat receiver to 24V in boiler elec. cartridge

Connect a wire from 2 on stat receiver to 0V in boiler elec. cartridge

put all back together. Job done!
