Replacing CPU but blank screen

I need a magnifying glass to check, even my ten year old couldnt tell for sure.

I reckon so.

You can have issues where optimisation processes or specifying lower voltages for RAM can result in the CPU failing to drive both sticks. Resetting the BIOS memory, which is not the same as updating the BIOS, when you replace the CPU is always a good idea.

It's been a long time since I looked at this stuff. Have you considered virtualizing your computer and running it in AWS, GCP or Azure?
