Apologies for the lack of technical words.
Current situation. Two cables coming out of the wall. Both with one red wire and one black wire. One of the black wires is not used. The cable with two wires in use has the red going to 'B Com' and the black going to 'A 2way'. The red wire from the other cable goes to 'B 2 way'. There is also a separate piece of wire 2 inches long (red in colour) that has been used to conect 'B com' to 'A com'. That seemed to work fine, one switch worked the wall lights the other the ceiling light.
The new dimmer swith has the two new dimmer elements both with L1, L2 and squiggle with an arrow through it for terminals. Please can anyone advise how I should proceed with connecting the new switch.

The red going to "B COM" should go into one of the terminals with the squiggle, and then run a link to the other terminal with the squiggle.

The black going to "A 2way" goes to one of the L1 terminals (and should have a red sleeve over it), and the red going to "B 2way" goes to the other L1 terminal.
