I am looking to replace MFI kitchen unit doors with replacements from B&Q but notice that the hinge positions are different on the new doors. I would think the only way to overcome this will be to reposition the hinges on the units themselves but are there any "tricks of the trade" that would help with this?

Any help/advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Paul

make sure the hinge is in the "middle" of it's adjustment when you offer it up.. that way you can go either way to get it right..

We have just had new doors & drawers fitted with new (soft close) hinges. The fitter fitted the new hinges to the doors and just offered them up to the old carcasses. I guess they were mid-position. He then just powered in new screws. Job done - about 2 minutes per door!
