Replacing my Extractor Fan

Hi I have 3 wires (Black, Brown and Blue) what switches do they go in N / LS/ L as I did the the Black/N Brown / LS blue /L and found I reversed the fan and when the light went off the extractor went on

you sure it's brown, black blue?

new cable is brown black grey.. ( tough some of the greys look blueish.. )

old cables were red, yellow, blue...

unless it's old 4 core flex which was indeed brown black blue and earth..

brown is live, blue should be neutral and black should be switched live..

best to find the other end where it connects to the light and figure out what;s what in there..
