Moved house recently and noticed the valley needs repointing, it's a steep roof with smooth roof tiles

I've done pointing on our previous property but was straightforward and easily accessible

I can't get the ladders close enough to the valley as it's a tight area. Pics attached.

What would be the easiest way to do the job?

Thoughts would be appreciated

Re bed the valley on an undercloak. It's not correct as it is and pointing will just fall out in a short time .

That's an alternative option to the pointing but how about getting to the area close enough to do the job it's a tight area :(

Pointing will not be a long term solution .
Put a tower up to gutter, push tiles up.. basic really

Can you elaborate a bit further please when you say push tiles up?

If I've understood you correctly I'm guessing that if I go down the undecloack option it's a case of removing the old mortar (but access difficult to get to the top to remove the mortar) and it's then a case of sliding the undecloack at gutter level upto the top?

Push up every third tile to create steps up the pitch of the roof..move the roof ladder closer to the valley to sit your stuff on.
Deffo need a tower as data said.
