restoring bathroom wall tile

i am in the processing of remodeling my home bathroom and recall an episode on DIY in which wall tiles can be painted using a special formualated paint. any idea where i can gain additional information on this procedure.

Tile paint is availbale in all DIY stores in the UK.
I would imagine is available in the USA
