This has got me baffled but I'm sure one of you can put me straight in seconds..
I forgot to note down the positions before removing the fitting, now I'm trying to put it back Im stuck.
It is a communal hall light, one of two. Two timer switches.
Power is off at the trip..

Please help!
I've tried using the diagrams but there seem to be too many odd wires!
Thank you!
J

Get onto the managing agents NOW and tell then that an electrician is urgently required to fix the problem of no lights in a communal area.

You should not be fiddling with it, as clearly you don't know what you're doing. This is not inside your own home, and there are all sorts of legal, liability and insurance implications with you working on the electrics.

Get the right person along to fix it asap, and in the meantime you'd better hope that nobody falls down the stairs because you decided to b***er up the lighting.

Are there emergency lights? Not that they will last into darkness.

You clown.
