Risco Alarm add key fob

Hi,

Does anyone know how to add an extra radio key fob to a Risco gt600 alarm? I think i need to put the receiver in write mode but can’t find any documentation that explains how to do this. Any help appreciated

Hi James,
If you have the eng code it is done through programming.
Under programme zones put in 50.....yes and scroll through until programme buttons/fobs.

Thank you, i’ve Inherited the system so don’t actually have the engineering codes only the code to set the alarm. I’m guessing there’s no way of discovering the eng code with looking for the original installers?

You could try 1234 if it’s been left default.
Apart from that you would have to contact the installer to either change the code or let him programme the fob in.
He will charge a call out but you can have full control of the system if that is what you want.
Try 1234 as on the odd occasion this has worked.
