hello all
i have a worcester28si 11 and the pressure seems to be rising slowly,at first it would drop back down to under 2 bar but now its not going under 2.5,it rises a little when the heating is on but never above 3 bar,i have a plumber coming at the weekend to have a look, is the heating safe to use? two young kids in the house and with this cold spell the house is like a fridge
thanks in advance

If it goes above 3 bar the safety valve will open and let the excess pressure out

Worcesters usually have a built in filling link, but if yours has a filling loop under it check that both valves at each end are fully turned off

It could also be the Domestic Hot Water heat exchanger at fault, leaking mains pressure cold water into the heating side.

If so a new DHW heat exchanger is required, plus some seals.
Don't let a plumber touch it unless he/she carries (and shows you!) a valid CORGI card.

thank you,the kids will be chuffed
hopefully the plumber will sort it at the weekend,he`s corgi registered
regards
