Hi guys/gals

S8002257.jpg

I know very little (read jack$hit) about insulating attics/roofs.

The trusses(?) in this pic are approx 450mm apart. I'm looking to fit insulating boards... or anything recommended.

Do you need to fit roof vents if you are fitting these boards eaves to apex?

Would insualting the roof cause any damp/ventilation problems?

All advice is welcome in advance. :)

hi looks like the rafters are 4x2 so you can use a 70mm celotex board cut between the c/rafters leaving at least 30mm from your roof felt. start at the foot of the rafter and carrie up untill you reach the ridge and leave 30mm gap and continue down the over side.this will leave a contiuse air gap.regards brig
