Hi
I'm looking for a few words of advice on fitting insulation between rafters in a loft conversion (already converted before I moved in, but I can still access "some" of the rafters from within the eaves - better than nothing).
The roof is very old, with no roofing felt below the slates - nailed directly on to sarking board?.
Looking at various websites it states that a 50mm gap should be left for ventilation. That's not a problem, but do I also need to fit some sort of membrane/vapour control layer?
thanks for any help,
Willie
