Why is there so many sizes of these?

Which one will be more suited for me getting on roofs?

Wheres the cheapest place to buy them?

If they are too short you cant send them up to the apex off the ladder you get up to the roof from. If they are too long you have to be very strong and ex[perienced to, whilst stood on a ladder at the edge of the roof, push them up high enough above you so they start to descend towards the roof, but still be able to control them until they touch the roof without smashing tiles. Don't try it in a strong wind.

So whats the average size of one side of a roof then?

They set i was looking at were 4.64 Mtrs at full length, would this be sufficient.

why not by an extending one
