Rubber manchet - A toilet dilema

I have a neighbour with an old style toilet, the water falls down a 28mm pipe from the reservoir into the porcelain toilet entrance 58mm, these two are connected with a rubber manchet, its old and split.

I've found one online that looks to be about right except its 28mm>48mm its made of rubber.

What are the chances it will stretch over the 58mm?



bloody thing only costs eur 1,68 but ends up as 15 with transport & tax...

I would say No chance, may be rubber but they are not that flexible.

Don`t give the sizes but this is what they are known as here in the UK.

Just take the old one to a local plumbers merchant or DIY shed - you'll surely find what you need there.

No chance of finding one of those in a DIY shed in my opinion.
