I've got to run a HDMI + CAT5e cable in the floor from where the TV will be to a cuboard in the kitchen. the floor hasn't been screeded yet, so will have about 4" of screed.

We sell blue MDPE water pipe at work which is pretty solid and was going to run each cable in a length of that before screeding ontop.

Just checking that's ok and i'm not doing anything terribly wrong.

Cheers :D

Water pipe such as "Alkathene" will be fine. The only possible problem is that one day someone will dig up the floor and be confused by finding a "water pipe". But I personally wouldn't worry about that! :)
