had an RWB2 controlling CH only which worked OK, but clock was bust. Swapped it for RWB29 which went straight onto backplate and seems to function properly - ie. lights come on when meant to! Trouble is the main burner doesn't come on when the demand for heat is there, just stays on pilot light. I can hear something else coming on (pump?), but no actual heat. Any tips?

boiler seems ok - some sort of glowworm thingy. Have put old rwb2 back in & it worked OK again.

Then put new rwb29 back in & same thing happened - something makes a new noise as though the instruction is getting through, but main burner stays off. Room & boiler thermostat settings unchanged throughout.

Not sure what you mean about the jumper; am wearing a fleece myself as the heating's off!

You can carry on wearing it as im not telling you how to fix it now, hurt feelings

On back of clock is 5 little switches you prob need to change last one from pumped to gravity.

tried that but just the same.

Then removed it, switched off & started again - only this time remembered to push the reset as told in the manual.

Worked!! You star - thanks!!!
