I've done this before you will need 2 relays ! Wish I kept the diagram as I've just been asked to do another in a big house on the cliff top !
When I've have new drawings I will try to post.

Hi 1CANHELP

I am having a nightmare with my boiler installer with the system you described above.

They have installed a Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 418 and say they will need to install a new tank system to make it work correctly (costing me more money).

I currently have an open vented thermal store with a mains pressure coil.

Any advice would be appreciated. If you know how to wire the programmer and thermostat then please let me know so that I can inform them.

Apparently if the wired the system to work it would not comply with building regs.
