Samsung washing machine

Hi, I have a Samsung ww10t684dlh/s1 washer that WAS amazing....

Now it often wont spin, it will wash as normal then when it gets to the spin cycle it will sit there and occasionally rotate a bit but never build up to a spin.

If we drain some water out the drain tube it will spin.

I have checked the filter which is clear and the pump works fine?

Any ideas would be amazing

Could be unbalanced load , some machines won’t spin if they detect imbalance .Or switch which detects level is faulty not triggering pump .

I have seemed to work out if I drain the filter via the hose after around 3litres the pump will kick in and everything is fine?

To me, that would indicate that you have some form of blockage between the area where the drain is and the waste pipe.
