This is probably covered somewhere, but can't find exactly. Moving a toilet a few feet and want to tie into the vertical waste stack. What is the best option, San Tee or Wye, coming from a close to vertical waste flow direction? I plan on removing a section of the vertical 4" ABS, gluing a few inches top and bottom of the correct (tee or wye) 4x4x3 fitting, and attaching to the main section with shielded no hub Fernco-type couplings. The main vent stack is about 4.5 ft from new location (with two 90 degree turns). Is that adequate venting? If not can I tie into the washing machine vent which is next to soil stack.

Don't ask Y.

Probably doesn't matter here anyway.
