It's pre-war stone built terrace ( sandstone ), I am asking cos my mothers ( same stuff )has been done bout 10 yrs ago and apart from the initial drawback of sand getting everywhere it looked good once pointed up.
Recently I have noticed the back side of her house is getting a bit mossy if that makes sense.

sandstone might be a bit too soft for sandblasting, depends on how good the stone is really. if its slightly soft and crumbly you might blast half your house away in which case soda blasting would be a good alternative.
Or maybe just a jet washer?
