This condensate pump recently refused to shutoff, and when checked I found that the reservoir was full. Seems like the pump wasn't evacuating the reservoir correctly.
I removed the exit hose (there was about 18" of water in it), made sure it wasn't blocked by blowing through it, disconnected the pump from the mains and emptied the reservoir. But my question is, what could have prevented the pump from evacuating the reservoir in the first place? Is it worth investigating, or should I just replace the pump (~£80)?
