Got a question about these heaters.

With the following configuration

When expansion occurs.

A. does water expand into the expansion vessel

or

b, does water pass the pressure relief valve and then go to the drain.

If its A, surely the expansion vessel can only hold so much water so what happens when its full

or if its B, why does it say in the trouble shooting guides if water passes through the tundish or PRV intermittenly then there is a problem.

the clue is in the name

of course it does it dosent "fill up" if its correctly sized to allow for the expansion

I know Im being a numpty here, but I need this spelling out for me.

So a correct sized expansion vessel will incorporate some of the expanded water.

Will it then be removed once a tap is open.

Also, if water is coming through the PRV then there is a problem.
