Obtained an HP Microtower DC5850 with a SATA hard drive, however I also have a spare SCSI (internal) hard drive that I would like to attach. The motherboard appears only to support SATA connections.
Question is, has anyone seen or know of a cable that allows SATA on the motherboard and SCSI on the hard drive

Thanks for any help

Cheers

It think you may need to get yourself a PCI SCSI interface card, plugs into a spare motherboard slot.
However, how big is the drive?
It may not be worth it esp as SCSI drives are usually quite small.

Thanks for the response, I actually thought it there would have been an easier option in terms of a cable. As you mentioned it's not really worth the effort and cost, best to purchase a SATA drive (500gb @ £35.00 from amazon) and transfer the information

SATA and SCSI have different connections for a simple reason ... they are not compatible with each other.
