Are those ones you see on eBay for around a fiver any good. Just wanted to get one to take out to the MIL's villa in Spain to fine tune the dish. Sometimes we have trouble getting BBC stations and it may just need a tweak. If they’re no good, can anyone recommend one that’s not too expensive? Thanks.

If you're talking about the ones with the needle then yes, they're okay.

So long as you've got a decent compass bearing and elevation (or you can check the transponder from the Sky menu) so you're reasonably confident that you're pointing at the correct satellite, then those analogue needle meters will do alright for the final alignment.

Thanks. It’s already pointing at the satellite, I just wanted to be able to fine tune it.
