The museum of electricity in Christchurch, Dorset, is set to close indefinitely because it apparently "does not fulfil its visitor needs and has restricted disabled access".
It was operated and funded by SSE, offering free admission to an excellent attraction outlining the history of electricity, based in a disused Edwardian power station.
I don't usually do this kind of thing but I have started an online petition for Southern Electric to reconsider their decision to close it. Please take a couple of minutes to sign the petition so other people can benefit from the valuable resource this place offers.

Thank you.
