scratch on fire door

My beloved wife accidentally scratched one of our house doors yesterday(fire doors ) and the scratch has gone through the wood effect plastic to the wood underneath.

Anyone have any ideas on anything we can do to make it less noticeable?

you can get furniture polish repair kits which are sticks of coloured wax you blend together to match the finish and fill the scratch with.

thanks. its a shame is a wood grain, so guess it becomes slightly more complicated to get the right blend.

liberon wax sticks,or even wax crayons might take a bit of time but you will be able to hide it from others eyes,YOU will allways know its there.

put a sign over it 'Keep closed, Fire door'

wax crayons or pencil crayons. make sure they are sharpened and then you can match the shades of the grain. If you are not comfortable doing this yourself you could try a furnature restorer possibly.

The fire door sign is an easy way to hide it but I personally would use wax crayons.
